Dunwerkin Lunchon at Cafe Cortina in Farmington Hills.
We enjoyed a fine Italian dining experience at the Cafe Cortina. Thank you Carol.
Elaine did check the garden and confirmed that the Cafe Cortina were in fact growing their own herbs.
Thanks Carol for finding another interesting restaurant for Dunwerkin.
About the Cafe Cortina
Located in an Italian countryside vineyard setting. In its nearly four decade long history, Café Cortina has consistently strived to be more than just a restaurant. Founded on the site of a former apple orchard in 1976 by the Tonon family, Café Cortina started out as a “best kept secret” restaurant that has turned into a foodie destination. Passion for people, 'true' Italian flavors, genuine hospitality, and an inspired philosophy of making a positive difference in their local community and beyond is what drives all at Cafe Cortina each and every day.

The owner of the 2014 Motor City Corvette Concours 2014 "Best of the Best" Corvette is a Member of the GMC Corvette Set!
The MCCC Selection Committee invited 3 Members of our Club to enter their Corvettes in the Concours completion for the Zora Dunov Trophy. This is an honor in its self.
Just looking at these 2 Corvettes the judges had a tough call to make.
The winning Corvette is the blue C2 Convertible.
This Corvette was a 'bankrupt restoration garage' find.

2014 Wally Edgar Appreciation Day
On Saturday September 6, 2014 the GMC Corvette Set cruised to Wally Edgar Chevrolet's Dealership on Lapeer Road to display our Corvettes, socialize and enjoy a lunch of hot dogs, chips and soda.
Several of the Member Corvettes on display were new to the Member. Mike and Norm brought their new C7's; Janis, Mike had their new torch red 2001 and Jim brought his new torch red C6. Sammy found and brought her 2004 grey on gray convertible.
A great day was had by all. The GMC Corvette Set is thank full of our close working relationship with Wally Edgar Chevrolet.
